I seldom see family rally around each other the way this one does. The last few weeks have been an absolute roller coaster for the Martin’s and their extended family.  Their sweet mamma, their matriarch, their rock, went to be with Jesus way sooner than ever expected.  Countless tears have been shed as they have walked through the difficult moments of loosing a precious loved one.  A couple weeks after they said goodbye to her, they gather together once again, but this time for a joyous event!  What an wonderful day for all of them as they celebrate the Martin’s adoption ceremony.  After almost two years in foster care, Bree and Caycay were adopted into their forever family!

Several of the siblings in this family have fostered children for years and ultimately adopted precious ones into their sweet families. I praise Jesus for parents who choose life and allow willing, able and loving families to give their birth children a loving home. And I praise Jesus for the willing, able and loving families who bring these children into their homes as one of their own.  Amazing testimony of God’s love.

I love the next group of photos. Watching the Martin family walk out of the building with their family surrounding them reminds me of the song, “It might feel like I’m surrounded, but I’m surrounded by you! This is how we fight our battles…” Such a picture of Christ’s love and what  He intends for us when He blesses us with family. LOOK AT THE SHIRTS! So awesome!
